Welcome to Saint Michael’s in the Gard
an English-speaking Anglican church
Join us the second Sunday of every month
10:30 am, Protestant Temple, Bagard, France
Nestled in the beautiful Gard region of southern France, St. Michael’s is a welcoming English-speaking Anglican congregation where faith, friendship, and fellowship come together.
Founded in 2006 and welcomed into the Diocese in Europe the following year, St. Michael’s has become a spiritual home for English-speaking Christians from many countries and backgrounds. Whether you are a permanent resident of France, spending time in the region, or simply looking for worship in English, you will always receive a warm welcome.
We gather for Holy Communion on the second Sunday of every month at 10:30 a.m. at the Protestant Temple in Bagard, where we worship together in the Anglican tradition under the ministry of Father Roy Cole.
At St. Michael’s, worship is only part of our time together. After every service we invite everyone to stay for fellowship over coffee, tea, a glass of wine, and a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats. It’s a relaxed opportunity to meet new friends, catch up with old ones, and enjoy the warmth of our church family.
Our congregation is made up of people from many walks of life and many parts of the world. Some have lived in France for years, others have recently made the Gard their home, and many visit us while enjoying this beautiful region. Whatever your story, we hope you’ll feel at home here.
At St. Michael’s, we believe church is more than a place you attend—it’s a community where faith is nurtured, friendships flourish, and everyone is valued.
We would be delighted to welcome you.
We would love to hear from you.
